New Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia is now using MetaVision to support perfusionist workflow, in conjunction with their Maquet heart-lung machines. This is the third site to implement the joint solution.
MetaVision will be implemented in all the ICUs and ORs at the hospital, comprising about 450 beds. Additionally, iMDsoft and Meona are cooperating on the Synergy product, which will provide patients with a complete continuum of care across the patient journey.
They will be using the system all the pre-op, intra-op and post-op units of their three hospitals: Grabs, Altstätten and Walenstadt. Coffs Harbour Health Campus and St George Hospital have both gone live with the electronic Record for Intensive Care (eRIC) solution, which involves the installation of MetaVision software throughout the state’s throughout the state’s adult, paediatric and neonatal ICUs. St George Hospital is the first metropolitan hospital to deploy the solution. Port Macquarie Base Hospital, the pilot site for eRIC, has been live with MetaVision since October.
The hospital has replaced paper records with MetaVision in the OR at Heerlen, joining previous implementations in Heerlen's ICU and Sittard’s OR. When complete, the project will encompass 110 beds at the two locations.
This go-live joins previous implementations in the hospital's surgery and internal medicine ICUs, with the neuro intermediate care unit to follow in Q4. MetaVision supports ICUs of any size and any specialty and has been successfully implemented in various types of ICUs worldwide. University Hospital Frankfurt is now using MetaVision in a total of 110 beds.
The hospital now has digital pre-op assessments and electronic patient records in their OR and post-op units. This implementation is part of a larger project with hospital group Niels-Stensen-Kliniken, which will be using MetaVision across the high acuity environments of their three sites.
AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende now has electronic patient records in over 50 ICU beds, joining UZ Leuven, AZ Groeninge Kortrijk, OLV Ziekenhuis Aalst, AZ Sint-Lucas and AZ Turnhout in using MetaVision. Benefits for these hospitals include centralised management, standardisation of workflows and fast implementation.Read More
